The City of Smyrna highly values the important role education plays in building a thriving community and strongly supports the Cobb County schools in our community. Acknowledging the work of the finest teachers and staff in the profession, involved parents, and a supportive community are regular elements in the City’s quest and program of work to support and showcase the quality of the Smyrna area schools.

Smyrna is host to eight (8) public elementary schools, two (2) public secondary schools, one (1) public high school and one (1) charter school (Imagine International Academy).  Public Schools are operated by the Cobb County School System.  
Call a school today to make an appointment to visit.  It will be worth the effort.
